San Francisco born Trebor Healey is the author of 3 novels, 3 story collections and a book of poetry. His debut novel, Through It Came Bright Colors, won both the Publishing Triangle's Ferro-Grumley Fiction Award and the Violet Quill Award. In 2013, his third novel, A Horse Named Sorrow, also was awarded the Ferro-Grumley, and he received the Outstanding MidCareer Novelist Award from the Lambda Literary Foundation that same year. He has co-edited two anthologies: Manic D Press's Beyond Definition and Routledge's Queer & Catholic. He's now working on a cycle of novels about a boy turning into a faun, and a big tome about a gay male Eva Peron. Trebor lives part-time in Mexico City where he works with refugee kids and will donate 100% of Litquake book sales to help support them,
