Zoe Young is a fiction writer and journalist. She holds a writing M.F.A. from California College of the Arts and has taught at San Francisco State University. Her short fiction has been published in A Tale of Four Cities Review and The Bensonhurst Review. Her short story “Angel in the Architecture” will be published in McSweeney’s Quarterly Concern in August 2018. In earlier years, Zoe chose the word of the day for Dictionary.com, wrote live jazz reviews for Downbeat magazine as the California state correspondent, and continues to script plays for production at Berkeley Rep through Playground SF. Zoe is the founder and a proud member of the Finishing School Writer’s Workshop.
