Lyndsey Ellis is a fiction writer, essayist and editor who's passionate about exploring intergenerational struggles and resiliency in the Midwest. She's a 2018 recipient of a grant from the Barbara Deming Memorial Fund and 2016 recipient of the San Francisco Foundation's Joseph Henry Jackson Literary Award for her fiction. Ellis is a Kimbilio Fiction Fellow and is currently the excerpt editor at Coil Magazine. Her work appears in Joyland, Stockholm Review of Literature, The Jamaica Observer, Shondaland, and elsewhere.
