He obtained a master’s degree in Comics Studies from the European School of Image in Angoulême and a degree in illustration from the Decorative Arts School in Strasbourg (HEAR). He currently works as a freelance illustrator for various publications, including The New York Times, The New Yorker, Télérama, XXI, and more. Antoine Maillard will be in San Francisco in October and November 2018 as the guest of artist residency “A Room with a View,” a program of the Cultural Services of the French Embassy in the United States, the French American Cultural Society and Institut Français, with the generous support of Mr. and Ms. Desliens-Flint.
