Kristen Cosby is a freelance writer, editor, and educator.  She is currently at work on her first book project thanks to generous support from the Jan Michalski Fondation, the MacDowell Artist's Colony, the Corperation of Yaddo, and the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts.  Her writing has garnered the Normal Prize in Nonfiction and a Pushcart Prize Special Mention and has appeared in several literary journals and anthologies.
