I write out of compulsion. As a physician, mother, hyphenated American, friend, wife and more I write to try to understand the unknowable in daily things. I've read before as part of the physician-writers group the Nocturnists and am working on several personal essays, but mostly can be found scribbling in the pages of my composition book at strange hours.
