Joyland Magazine is one of the nation's leading journals for boundary-pushing short fiction. Though its main operations are based in New York, Joyland is uniquely distributed across North American cities, with local editors assigned to each region. Joyland West strives to publish fiction representing diverse styles, cultural experiences, and interpretations of California and the American West, providing a platform for both emerging and established writers. This event will showcase a selection of writers whose work has been published in Joyland West over the past two years.
