Anca L. Szilágyi is the author of Daughters of the Air, which Shelf Awareness calls "a striking debut from a writer to watch." Her writing appears in Salon, Los Angeles Review of Books, Lilith Magazine, and elsewhere. She is the recipient of the inaugural Artist Trust / Gar LaSalle Storyteller Award as wells grants and fellowships from Vermont Studio Center, 4Culture, and Seattle Office of Arts & Culture, among others. Originally from Brooklyn, she currently lives in Seattle.
